WallyPark and SkyMeals team up to help feed frenzied flyers.
LOS ANGELES, CA – In an effort to provide travelers with more options, WallyPark Premier Airport Parking at LAX has teamed up exclusively with SkyMeals to cater to the hurried and hungry traveler. Dreamentia Creative Laboratories, WallyPark’s agency of record, will handle all of the advertising efforts surrounding the new partnership.
Beginning February 12, 2007, WallyPark customers can dine in style with over 70 gourmet meals prepared for the health-conscious traveler on the go. Customers can place their orders online at www.WallyPark.com or www.skymeals.com. All meal orders placed by 3:00 p.m. the day before the date of departure will be delivered to WallyPark in time for the traveler’s trip to the airport.
“WallyPark is committed to making air travel more enjoyable for our customers and we are pleased to be able to offer this much needed service at our Los Angeles location,” stated Bryan Gusdorf, National Director of Marketing and Sales.
Entrées include Flash-Seared Ahi Tuna with Wasabi Aioli, Sesame-Ginger Dressing, Jicama, Orange and Cilantro Salad, Cucumber, Zucchini and Avocado; Brown Sugar-Glazed Alaskan Salmon with Marinated Primavera Salad and Vegetable Orzo on Red Oak Leaf Lettuce; and Pasta Primavera with Sautéed Italian Squash, Eggplant, Mushrooms and Tomatoes, in a Light Herb Vinaigrette.
A wide assortment of sandwiches (each served with two side dishes) blows away anything you can find at the airport. Popular selections include a Salt & Pepper Roast Beef Sandwich with Arugula, Bacon, Roasted Tomato and Caramelized Red Onion Marmalade on a Rustic Roll; and a Seafood Club with Grilled Shrimp, Grilled Salmon, Bacon, Tomato, Lettuce, and Dilled Aioli on Rustic Roll. Desserts and snacks include Caribbean Angel Food Cake and Crème Brûlée.
Founder and Managing Partner Richard Katz got his inspiration for SkyMeals on a flight home to Los Angeles from Paris, for which he and a friend had packed some French delicacies they had found at specialty shops on Boulevard Saint-Germain before leaving for the airport. Once airborne, when they unpacked their sumptuous picnic, they were the envy of everybody on that flight, giving Katz a great idea. And thus, in 2002, SkyMeals began making thousands of customers the envy of their fellow passengers.
WallyPark’s mission is to pamper customers with a higher level of airport parking. Located conveniently to all LAX terminals at 9700 Bellanca Blvd, WallyPark’s white glove service extends beyond its secure, covered and uncovered facilities to include 24-hour shuttles, free amenities, special member programs and exclusive car care services in select locations. Locations include: Atlanta, Philadelphia, Denver and Seattle.
Dreamentia has handled the advertising and branding for WallyPark since winning the business in December 2005. Since then, they have helped in the efforts to launch new airport locations in both Philadelphia and Atlanta, as well as to fill the facilities at their flagship LAX location, Seattle’s SEATAC and Denver’s International Airport.
